My daughter Mona had surgery on December 20th, 2013 in California. The surgeon said that he thought he got all the cancer, but when the labs came back there was some lymph node involvement. They sampled twelve lymph nodes and only one was positive, so that’s not bad, I think. Mona will have a course of chemotherapy, but they expect she will respond to it well.
When I last spoke with her she was in pain, but very positive. Already planning to go back to school and finish her bachelor’s degree and then possibly study law!
My wife and I are planning a trip to California in the spring. We look forward to seeing our California friends and family.
