I think that’s short sighted. Hard core science fiction fans will expect something with aliens and intergalactic travel. They’ll be disappointed. True, it happens 70 years in the future, which would qualify it as sci-fi, but most of the fast-paced action happens on earth in places like Florida, Georgia and Pakistan. I describe leaps in technology in many areas: implanted cell phones, expandable cars, bolt guns, but people will still be driven and consumed by the same emotions: love, hate and greed. After working many years on the Space Shuttle program, I was happy to revive America’s strong manned space flight program.
